My Thoughts - February 2026

February 4th, 2026. 11:42 AM

The last few days have been busy. Class is a lot of work, my car needing work on the window, and I saw Iron Lung. It was a lot of work, but a lot of fun.

The snow storm mentioned the other day...was a lot. Missed work and classes for it. I managed just fine, and I spent time with Caroline, Luke, and Josh. I also got to know Nate and Jill a little more, which is nice. Lake Erie has pretty much frozen over, and the ice is so thick you can walk onto it. I went down to Shoreline park with Luke and I went out to take pictures of Cedar Point on the lake, which I've put one below.

Lake 1

Because of the cold, my windows froze shut on my car. I wish I knew how annoying that could be before we went to Bowling Green to see some friends, because I accidentally broke my driver side window because of it. The window pane itself was fine, just it jumped the track. That little repair would cost $450, but it was promptly fixed later that week.

Iron Lung was a good movie. I didn't know anything going in other then Markiplier was in the movie. He did a good job, and it was a movie I would see again in theatres.

Lastly, today is Taylor's birthday. I wish I could see them on their birthday, and perhaps I could if things were better, but I cannot because of scheduling conflicts. I have something neat to give to Taylor, but I probably won't be able to until practically April :(

While walking to Mr Smith's coffee with Luke, Josh, and Ronan, we witnessed a FedEx truck have a collison with a car. It was really funny. I managed to take this (rather poor) picture of the truck from the crosswalk.

FedEx Crash

It really made me feel better about my car situation, because as annoying as it was to fix my car, at least I didn't hit a FedEx truck.

Work today was alright, slow but consistent. A few of the full-time workers/managers came up to me and told me they really liked the tiktok I made for the facility on Tuesday. Roxane made churros and even gave me one. Overall work was ok.

I am currently in class, and working on various things. I feel so behind, and it is my own fault. I honestly should be dialing in to get everything done tonight, but it is ok, it always works out with me in charge.

Last night caroline came over, and we watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and Spaceballs, while we played various Roblox games and Hypixel Bedwars. It was a fun time overall.

I have been feeling a little down recently. It's nothing specific, just a little down. I wish it wasn't winter, it would be nice to finally warm up for the spring, but I have easily another month before that happens. A lot has happened in the last 6 months, and only a little felt any sort of good. I wish it could stop but I just deal with it for now.

Lastly, I am due to have a yap session with Nate tonight, allegedly. I will ask if we are still yapping. If not, I'll probably play Roblox until DnD, if I go. It has been very busy recently.

February 9th, 2026. 3:12 PM

Many things have happened since I last wrote. Work, yapping, more work, homework, classes, and the Super Bowl. Last Friday we had a class event at Ghostly Manor, where I went rollerskating and absolutetly showed off to most of the people there. The downside? I got a blister on my right foot from the rental skate. Nate, Josh, Ronan, Caroline, Jill and I went to Cheekz for dinner afterward. It was a good time, and I had a very good melt. Nate and I had a yap session after, and it was nice to talk to someone else for a change.

Work was long and hard this weekend. We sold out of certian products, which was both good and bad, since we had a couple bad weeks in terms of sales previously. Sports Center work is hard, but it pays well so I do not mind very much. Sunday I got to leave a little early since we were overstaffed, and I would hang out with Luke, Josh, and Caroline watching Star Wars and the Super Bowl LX halftime. We also had some good laughs over a few things, which was nice if you ask me.

Nate and I met up this morning before class to talk about a few things, which was fun. Class today has been boring, which is mid at best.

I was browsing some older websites again this past weekend. Seeing how the internet is changing towards AI scares me. The new tools can *sometimes* be helpful, but most of the time its just a waste of resources and water. With so many of the ads being AI this year during the Super Bowl, I see how far we've fallen. 10 Years ago I was optimistic about the advancement of computers. 5 Years ago I was optimistic. When I was graduating High School, I was optimistic, but now I worry my little cousins, the youngest being 7, will grow up in a world where there is no privacy, and AI does everything. I really hope we figure out what we're doing, before its too late.

February 10th, 2026. 1:30 PM

Taking a quick break at work, its been a lot. We sold so much over the weekend, we nearly cleared out the warehouse worth of stuff, which is good. I also edited a TikTok for the socials.

Last night I cooked steaks for Nate and I, because I was tired of cooking for just one person. It was nice, I felt like I had a reason to cook. I need to get better at the sides, but its ok. Afterwards, we went to play Kahoots and other games at Luke and Josh's, featuring Caroline and Ronan. It was a fun night, and we had a good time.

Lastly, I got my job placement for the 2026 season at Cedar Point. I'm very happy with were I am. I won't say where, as I don't want to reveal too much about my personal life, but I am pleased with it. I even learned I have a few of my supervisors returning, even ones I didn't expect to see return, so that is ideal.

February 11th, 2026. 2:41 PM

Last night had the best sunset of the year, so far. I was taking a walk downtown and I stopped and looked up at the sun, and the oranges and yellows with the clearer skies really made me feel warm for the first time since I was in Florida back in January. I'll put the picture below, because I thought I took a good picture.

Sunset

I can't wait for summer to come back, the lake likes to keep the sun away and I really do miss these sunsets. Living on Lake Erie does make each of those warm sunsets pop, more than any other place I have personally seen a sunset (except for the mountains in Virginia, but thats a story for a different day)

I hung out with Nate, Caroline, Luke, Josh and Ronan last night after my evening class. It was fun, but we stayed up too late for me. We played some games, and had a good time. Nate and Caroline kept winning, which was fun.

I have a career fair this friday, an interview assignment due Saturday, and onboarding on Tuesday. I am really having a solid week in terms of due dates. The weather is warming a little, and I even got to take my car for a washdown for the first time since December.

Speaking of my car, I made a couple of page updates yesterday. I added a page for my cars, well the two I've owned so far. I also used the same code to update my Lego City page, and now it is much nicer to look at. That page isn't 100% yet, but it is ok for now. I also am working on finishing my park visits for 2025, and 2026 pages. I think going forward for 2026, it will be shorter recaps, not as detailed as I am growing tired of writing so much. I am also debating adding in a new page for my time in the Boy Scouts, because that would be neat I suppose. I have been inspired by some additional personal sites from the 1990s and 2000s, and I am slowly making my site in my image to be like that, a way for me to document my life.

February 12th, 2026. 3:06 PM

Nate had an appointment today to run some tests on...something. It's not my business, but I really was worried about them all night, it kept me up. I think it influenced my dream where the northern lights were shining, but at impossibly bright levels. It was kinda scary, but I managed just fine. I also wonder if my dinner from the night before had anything to do with it.

Speaking of dinner, I went to dinner with Ronan, Josh, and Caroline. We went to What The Fried Rice, which is just down the block from us. It was ok, but if I wanted to get fried rice like that I think I would rather go to Mings Garden on Rt 250. After, I went to my apartment and thought about a few things, but otherwise had a smooth evening.

Lastly, I got picked to help with Winter Chill Out at Cedar Point as a tour guide escort. I basically just help make sure people don't get lost. This will be my first visit back on property since December, and my 3rd ever winter visit to the park. There is no rides at WCO, its a charity behind the scenes tour. I haven't told anyone yet, so you heard it here first. I'll try to get some pictures from the tour, if I am allowed. If not, I am certain I'll see plenty online in the following days.

February 14th, 2026. 10:29 AM

Today is Valentines Day, and I am stuck at work at the Cedar Point Sports Center. To be completely fair, I didn't have any other plans for today, so I guess I don't have room to complain. Actually, I think I'd rather be here than at home.

Yesterday was the career fair at school, and it was pretty cool. I talked to a few different people, which was neat. The coolest company was the Hollywood Casino Toledo. They were surprised I knew the exit for their location (198 on I75) and its because Tony Packo's has the same exit. Speaking of Tony Packo's, I could really go for one of their hotdogs right now. Maybe I'll go Monday.

Lastly, I have a surprise to share. I am actually in a relationship, somehow. Its with Nate, which has been fun. I've alluded to it a few times that something has been going on, but I'll put it here. If you're reading this (and know me IRL) message about it if this is the first time you're hearing about it.

February 15th, 2026. 1:31 PM

Work this weekend has been slower than I expected. Its a busy weekend, but the merch sales are slow. I guess I'll manage.

Last night I went to a small party at Shelby's with Nate, and it was a good time. I got to hold Shelby's cat Snowflake, who is adorable. She's a little kitten still, so very playful.

Snowflake

The party itself was also fun. We mostly socialized and watched Young Sheldon on TV. I didn't stay too late, I had to get up early for work today. Speaking of work, I accidentally overslept because I misread my alarm. oops.

February 16th, 2026. 11:19 AM

I've been working on a few new ideas for my website. I found a handful of essays I wrote for classes in the past, and I have been toying with the idea of posting them under the Antics section of the website. I have compiled an example page for me to dwell on, but I have yet to go through and upload it. I have been wanting to put more of my thoughts on this site, rather than just trips. I want to branch out more because while theme parks are my passion, I am more than rides. Some of the thoughts I have had I want to put in the blog, but I do want to limit myself to 1-2 posts per day, so I don't clutter the page too much.

In local news, this morning has been really foggy. I woke up today and looked out the window and it was super foggy, couldn't see very far. Driving to work felt spooky, which was odd since the sun was rising and the sun was partly out. Work itself was quick, only 2 hours. Tonight I am not sure what I will do, because I am very tired from this weekend. I probably will take it easy and go to bed early.

February 16th, 2026. 3:49 PM

Did some work on the site today. Some of the changes include:

    - Updated the monthly blog pages to be nicer looking

    - Updated the Month Index pages to be consistent with Year Index page and monthly pages

    - Corrected January and February 2026 links to be consistent with 2025 links

    - Removed December 2025 as it had no content

    - Cleaned up several blog posts

    - Cleaned up code on several pages during updates

These changes make me happy. My site now feels more complete, and reflects on my takes on how a website should be designed. I think I will update the About Me page later to be consistent with the Blog, Antics, and Themepark Pages.

I also uploaded the first of several essays I will be uploading about my thoughts on things. This one is my thoughts on Standardization, and was origianlly written for a class in 2024. It will be under Standardization for now on the Antics page, however it may get moved later.

February 18th, 2026. 10:53 AM

Last two days have been interesting. Monday evening we took a long walk with Nate, Caroline, Luke, Josh, and Ronan. As we walked around Sandusky, the sunset over the lake and the city was beautiful. I took several pictures of it as we walked around, and all of them just make me feel so calm. The weather was also really good, which made everything so nice. I put a picture of it below: Sunset

Yesterday was a really interesting day. I had onboarding at Cedar Point, officially getting my work ID and my nametags for the 2026 Season, including my 2 year pin. That took about an hour to get. I got a good lunch after, and took my car for a well earned washdown. After, I went to work and worked on a TikTok for the CPSC, which took the majority of my time.

While at work, I saw Beth and Becka. Beth and Becka were two of my associates who worked under me last season at Cedar Point. I hadn't seen Becka since closing day, and I hadn't seen Beth since my last day at Cedar Point for the 2025 season. Becka is still in high school, and was looking for a weekend job until the season begins, and when I mentioned I was working at CPSC, she decided to apply to work with me. She was interviewing, and I think she probably got the job. I hope she did, she's very good at her job when I was her TL, and she never let me down.

Following work, I went home and cooked dinner. It was Chicken Alfredo Linguini, and it was pretty good. After, I hung out with Nate, Caroline, Luke, Josh, Jill, and Ronan for some games. It was a good time.

I liked how everything is going this week, it has been solid. Only thing I would change is the weather. It's raining today, and its supposed be cold again Saturday at WCO. Its ok, I'll manage, but the weather could be nicer.

February 19th, 2026. 12:26 PM

This morning has been very foggy here in Sandusky. Photos don't do it justice, but when I was driving to work, I genuinely had concerns that I would crash. Luckiy, I made it fine. Today at work, we are closed to the public as a conference is being hosted here. In the mean time, I have been doing other tasks, like moving some shipments to their proper place, making some TikToks, and getting some data processed. The TikTok filmed today will be uploaded when needed, its not an urgent TikTok. Its a pretty solid day otherwise.

Last night, I got ice cream with Nate, Caroline, Luke, Josh, and Jill at Toft's. It was very good, although I broke two plastic spoons trying to eat mine. I swear I was unlucky. After, we all tackled some homework we needed to do, and boy some of it was hard. I have never been more frusterated at some assignments than I was last night. After tackling some of them, we discussed altering our plans for the 2026 summer. We're going to go to Silver Dollar City in Missouri. I have never been, and I am very excited to go. I booked the AirB&Bs, so that will be a lot of fun when we go.

In local news, my dad is coming out to visit this Friday with Steph. We are planning to go to dinner, and hang out a little. I am very excited for this, as I haven't seen my dad since January. He's also bringing me a new SSD for my Thinkpad, which is nice to expand the total storage to over 1Tb for my t430. I can't install it fully yet, I need to wait for a Bezel to come from China, which will allow it to function fully.

February 19th, 2026. 6:06 PM

Today at work I was thinking about my upcoming Virginia trip, and Taylor. I haven't seen Taylor since NYE and that made me a little sad. They have been so busy with work and school, and our schedules don't let us talk, nor see eachother. It makes me sad. I miss my friend, and it makes me wish that they didn't live so far away (sure CBus is only 2 hours but we're both so busy).

Taylor asked me the other day what they had missed after reading the blog, since there was a few things that I didn't talk to them about since we've been busy. I kinda get why they thought they missed something, its not entirely wrong to think that way. It shouldn't be a surprise that I don't put ALL my thoughts on the internet, that is usually advised as a bad idea. It lead me to think though, just how much have I not written down that I intended to. I don't know, but I do know that I miss my friend. I miss my bestie, and it makes me so sad that we don't talk as much as we did over the summer.

I hope our trip to Virginia is a good catch up. There is a lot of things I fully intend to talk to Taylor about during Virginia. Most topics I will bring up my own, but a few Taylor will have to be smart to ask about them. It will be a fun trip regardless.

February 20th, 2026. 9:55 AM

From time to time I get bored with the internet, and I like to explore. I've discussed how I like to go about and explore the older parts of the internet. I like to use Wiby.me to do the majority of it. Occasionally I find some interesting sites (see some of the sites I've linked in the past) and I found a couple over the last few days. One site I found on wiby was Bulb Cam, and its a live webcam of a lightbulb that I guess is over 100 years old. You can even visit it, the address is; Fire Station #6, 4550 East Ave., Livermore, CA. The second site I found is more strange, and its Internet Pizza Server Ordering Area. This site is a weird one. You make a pizza...with odd toppings. I think its a passion project.

The internet is a weird place, and wiby lets me explore it more, which is neat. I will probably make a page one day documenting some of the sites better, because right now I am putting this out there to share my interests.

February 21st, 2026. 7:34 PM

My dad came out to visit me last night, and we got dinner at Brick Oven Bistro. Nate came along, and it was very good. We got the baked potato pizza and I got some of the wings. If you go, try the wings, they are so worth it. After, my dad and I went to Khol's and I got a new winter jacket finally, something I had avoided for sometime. I got to trial run it the next day.

Speaking of cold weather, I got to go to Cedar Point's Winter Chill Out today, seeing many different things. I got to see TT2's bare chassis, the Maverick tunnel, and much more. I was actually a tour guide escort, meaning I helped keep everything in line. I haven't decided if I should make a dedicated page for it, or if I should document it more here. Regardless, it was a good time. The people I was with were very kind, and it was an easy day. When we were done with the tour, we were technically only 5 minutes late, which is very smooth.

February 24st, 2026. 6:05 PM

Work on Sunday was alright. I had an easy day other than being tired. Monday was interesting, because I had to get my first day at Cedar Point rescheduled from 2/27 to 4/8. This is because they discovered that they didn't actually have a training session that day. That was a funny to me. Classes Monday were alright, and we had a fundraiser at Panera for dinner. Overall Monday was a good day.

Work today was alright. It was just me, Cole was out with appointments. I made a TikTok and it was pretty good I'd say. I also made adjustments to what I was originally going to call the Southern Triangle trip. I think I will either call it the Southern Coast trip or Spring Thaw. We dropped Dollywood from our trip, and replaced it with Six Flags Over Georgia and FunSpot Atlanta. This was done for a few reasons. One: the hotel costs are only 40$ more, and with Dollywood not being apart of the Six Flags family, we would have had to spend extra on parking and Attendence. Instead, SFoG is on Gavin and Taylor's passes, and I get in with my work ID. FSA is only $40/per before my season pass discount, so that is not too bad. This also means I am back at SFoG for the third time in one calender year, which is crazy as for a legacy sf park, it is not that close to me to visit so many times.

The other stops along our trip are Carowinds, Chuck-E-Cheese, Kings Dominion, Bucc-ee's and Cookout. This trip should be very fun, especially since we got the costs down quite a bit. I personally am very excited to visit FunSpot Atlanta, and the Chuck-E-Cheese. Allegedly the Chuck-E-Cheese has a good lot of rare animatronics from the brand. I love seeing stuff like that, and Taylor too likes it a lot. FunSpot Atlanta was a lot of fun when I was there, and I only had 30 minutes. I would like to see more of it during my next visit.

I mentioned during the call with Gavin and Taylor about Nate and I, and Taylor got really quiet after. I am afriad that I upset them. I did mention that I had intentionally not mentioned it, and that we had been together for a little bit.

The reason I didn't say anything was that I was afraid that Taylor would get upset about everything. They and I used to be really close, and while we are not as close anymore I didn't want to hurt them. I didn't want to, and I fear the one thing I tried to avoid has happened. This makes me sad, because I never wanted to upset Taylor. If you are reading this Taylor, I am sorry if I hurt you. I wanted to avoid that, because you are my best friend and it is my fault that I didn't communicate better.

February 25th, 2026. 1:39 PM

Today I have been focusing on getting some work done for my classes, as I am less than a month of being done for the 2026 Spring Semester. I have been hard at work, although anxious, while working.

Caroline asked me today if I would consider reworking the Put-In-Bay page, as it looks rather odd compared to the rest of my site. It is one of the oldest pages, alongside my tribute to Watching Grass Grow, and Top Thrill 2 page. While these pages really do not meet my current standards, I do not feel like they need to be brought up to code. They are a reminder of how I learned to make a website.

I have been thinking a lot in the last 24 hours about what I have done since moving to Sandusky. A good deal of it is regrets in terms of how I interact with people. I have been rather poor at making decisions, which sucks because I should get better at it.

February 26th, 2026. 12:44 PM

The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad has finally posted an operating calender for the spring. I want to take Nate on the dome car, ideally the Silver Solarium but I don't know if they are interested or avalible to go. The tix aren't too badly priced, at ~$40 per person. The Silver Solarium is from the California Zypher trainset from the 1940s, and its very unique. The sits above the roofline of the train, and you can see a lot. I hope Nate is interested.

I also made 2 TikToks today for the CPSC, which is fun. I'm not sure when they will be posted, but I made them. I also helped move 40 boxes of hoodies today, that was fun.

Lastly, I am going to Cleveland tonight, to see my Dad and my Mom's cats. My Mom and Stepdad Abhi are currently on holiday to the Caribbean. While my cousin Charlie has been tending to them while they're gone, I am worried about them. I'll be having dinner with my Dad and Steph though, which is nice.

February 27th, 2026. 9:07 PM

Today I went to on a tour of Great Wolf Lodge with a club I am apart of. It was really cool to see how the whole facility operates from an operational perspective. The tour itself took an hour, and after we had a Q&A that lasted approx 35 minutes. I went with Caroline to the tour, and it was fun. It was especially neat to see the differences between GWL and Kalahari, as I took a tour of Kalahari in 2025. The GM, Jess, I met previously, as he was a friend of my Uncle's back when he worked at Six Flags Worlds of Adventure. I had a little chat with him, and it was very interesting. One of the cool things they gave us was a pair of Wolf Ears from the 2024 Solar Eclipse. Wolf Ears.

Last night I went home to see my Dad and check on my Mom's house. Everything was in order, and it was good time having dinner with my Dad. The dinner was a pasta dish, and I like it a lot.

I also booked tickets on the Silver Solarium for Nate and I. Expect to see a post about that when it gets closer. I am especially excited as I get to ride on the last dome car in the CVSR fleet. In 2021 and 2022, I got to ride in the Silver Bronco and Silver Lariat, which was a really cool experience. You get great views, and I am so excited to take Nate on it.

Lastly, Nate has been sick the last few days. It has been rather annoying, because I miss Nate. It's also the reason Nate couldn't go to GWL today, which also sucked.
